Not all calls that come through intake end up being allocated or case managed. Often we receive calls from members of the community seeking help for a single or non-chronic issue causing low parental stress such as child’s behaviour, service information, financial difficulties or lack of daily living skills.

Although these issues identified are low level they can escalate to life controlling issues requiring intensive intervention at a later stage. We at MFYS intervene by providing timely advice and referral and increase the social and emotional wellbeing of that individual and family.
